After the parade was complete the food was trucked off to the Harvest Food and Outreach Center and weighed for a total of 6296 pounds. This will provide over 9500 meals for Harvest Food & Outreach Centers free emergency food box program. This was a first time, now annual, event for the Treasure Coast where for an entire month local organizations hosted shopping carts at their place of business and encouraged patrons and employees to donate non-perishable food.
